This pack holds exactly what a day out needs: 24 litres for a shell, lunch, and a bit of margin. We skipped the lid and used a roll top instead. A lid adds 300 grams to keep rain off gear that the roll top already covers. The back is closed-cell foam, not a mesh trampoline. It lies flat when you pack it and doesn't fold in on itself when the bag is only half full.

Materials

420D ripstop nylon with a polyurethane coating. Every point where load pulls gets bar-tacked. The hardware is YKK throughout. The bottom panel is a thicker 630D because that's the part that rubs through first on any pack.

Repair

We keep sliders, buckles, webbing, and back panel foam for this model on hand indefinitely. Send it in with the serial number and we'll give you a quote before we start work. Most zipper fixes come to under thirty dollars, return shipping included.
